🙅‍♂️ 1. The Ultimate “Don’t Contact Me” Page – “Why I’m Unreachable And Maybe You Should Be Too”

This “Contact” page from startup founder Levels.io is really a “Don’t Contact Me” page.

The whole thing is worth a read, but I loved his “What I’m not interested in” section (reminds me of my “Not To Do List”).

What I’m not interested in:

I’m not interested in collaborating, I like to work alone. Or with people I hire. If I hire people I find you, you don’t need to message me.

I’m not interested in doing client work for other people, I never did, and my goal was to never have a boss and I’m difficult to work with anyway, and I make enough money so I don’t need to.

I’m not interested in fixing your printer or WiFi router.I’m not at all interested in doing calls, or podcasts, or joining Clubhouse rooms.I’m not interested in traveling to places to do conference talks or workshops for 300 people when I literally reach 1,000x to 10,000x as many people by building a new product or feature, by writing a tweet or blog or by making a YouTube video. It’s not worth the effort.

But what about meeting people and making new friends? I already have a close knit group of friends that have my back.

🎵 2. This Week’s Work Tunes – Poolsuite.net

🏝This site is giving me 80s poolside vibes.

Great deep work music.

🪑 3. Gadget Saving My Back From My Desk Chair – Back Stretcher

Came across a version of this product in Tony Robbins’ book Life Force.

See, our bodies are constantly overstrained by sitting hunched over.

Our gut is compressed and our oxygenation plummets because we’re shutting down our diaphragms.

This back stretcher counteracts the forces of sitting, allowing our spines to decompress and realign.

Been using it for a couple minutes in the AM, and couple minutes before bed.

Loving it so far. Definitely start on Level 1, this thing is serious.

🤑 4. Pricing Hack To Increase Sales By 262.5%

The Decoy Effect is a pricing trick as old as time.

Have you ever been a victim of it?

Read this thread to learn how it works, and how to use it in your work.

👵 5. 7 Habits That Lead To Happiness In Old Age

Great article from the Atlantic, based on a Harvard study started all the way back in 1938 on human happiness.

TL;DR Here are the 7 habits:

  1. Don’t smoke—or if you already smoke, quit now.
  2. Watch your drinking.
  3. Maintain a healthy body weight.
  4. Prioritize movement in your life by scheduling time for it every day and sticking to it.
  5. Practice your coping mechanisms now.
  6. Keep learning.
  7. Do the work to cultivate stable, long-term relationships now.

Everyone loves a happy ending, especially in the story of their own life.

Start writing that ending today.
