WORK LESS WEDNESDAY
WLW #179
👋 Hey Reader!
This is issue #179 of Work Less Wednesday, where I share with you 5 things you should know about, in 5 minutes or less. That leaves you with 10,075 other minutes this week.
📽️ 1. My Latest Substack Post – Why You’re Stuck

I see this with entrepreneurs I work with constantly.
Their business isn’t growing because they’re stuck between fear of failure and fear of success.
You don’t want to fail, so you do what you need to to keep afloat.
But you don’t want success, because deep down your sacred of what it might mean for you.
It ends up looking a lot like this:

If you want to finally 2X, 5X, or 10X your income, happiness, creativity, health, or success, you need to finally get unstuck.
📈 2. How To (Actually) Improve At Something – Post from Bonesaw
Loved this post from Bonesaw on what actually moves the needle.
Hint: “showing up” is not enough.

👤 3. “Wait, feelings are supposed to be IN THE BODY?” – Blog by Chris Lakin

Such a great chart ⬆️ (enlarge it)
Fascinating article by Chris Lakin about feeling our feelings in our body.
Most entrepreneurs live only from the head up.
What they don’t realize is they’re missing out on 99% of the useful information that their bodies have to tell them.
This problem has been getting worse for years, and I believe it will become even more prevalent as we get sucked deeper into knowledge work and online environments.
6️⃣ 4. Daily Exercise I’m Experimenting With – The Big 6 Lymphatic Drainage
Recently I discovered “The Big Six” exercise, a quick sequence of six lymphatic drainage moves to decongest the body, popularized by manual lymphatic therapists.
It targets six key areas to “open” major lymphatic gateways before working on specific regions.
The idea is to clear central pathways first so fluid from the limbs can drain efficiently.
It only takes a couple minutes and feels great.
Anecdotally, people say it:
• Reduced bloating or puffiness in face, hands, ankles.
• Easier post-workout recovery, less heaviness or DOMS.
• Improved sinus and neck tension relief from clearing central pathways.
• A calmer nervous system response – better sleep onset or relaxation.
• Gentle support for desk-bound stiffness and travel swelling.
I’ve been doing it a few times a day and it seems to work.
Here’s a quick YouTube video showing how it’s done.

💬 Quote I’m Pondering…
“What looks like a talent gap is often a focus gap. The “all-star” is often an average to above-average performer who spends more time working on what is important and less time on distractions. The talent is staying focused.”
– James Clear
