WORK LESS WEDNESDAY
WLW #182
👋 Hey Reader!
This is issue #182 of Work Less Wednesday, where I share with you 5 things you should know about, in 5 minutes or less. That leaves you with 10,075 other minutes this week.
💸 1. How To Find Clients Who Pay More Money – My Latest Substack Post

If you’re like most entrepreneurs I know, you probably think the #1 problem in your business is…
“I want better clients, I just don’t know how to find them.”
In this article, I explain what’s REALLY going on.
The problem isn’t that you don’t know how to find clients.
And you pretending this is a lead generation problem is what’s keeping you stuck.
If you want to close bigger deals than you ever have…
$10k, $100k, $250k, $1m…
You need to become the person who can handle high-price, high-value clients.
I explain how to do it in this week’s post.
📕 2. Book I’m Reading (& Applying) – Code To Joy by Dr. George Pratt

From Amazon:
“Doctors George Pratt and Peter Lambrou have been delivering successful results to professional athletes, top executives, celebrities, and nearly 45,000 other patients with their four-step process. Now, their revolutionary solution will help readers identify and diffuse the negative “blocking beliefs” that are standing between them and the happiness they want to achieve.”
“Readers will learn to root out and replace negative, self-limiting beliefs with empowering ones based on the best elements of cognitive science, the breakthrough findings of neuroscience, and cutting edge methods of energy psychology – then cement these positive beliefs permanently in their psyches and their bodies’ biofield.”
If you’re struggling with repeating patterns and self-limiting beliefs, this book is the real deal.
Fair warning, as with most nonfiction, there’s a TON of superfluous description to pad the book length, but the gold is the 4 step process that Dr. Pratt teaches.
I’ve been experimenting with the process for the past few weeks, and highly recommend giving it a try.
📱 3. 441 Slides On The State Of Social Media In 2025 – By Matthew Stassoff

Absolutely incredible breakdown of what’s up in social media (which is basically the culture at this point).
Here’s the description:
Every year a ritual to take a look back (and sometimes further back than the year) and try to make sense of all the saves, bookmarks, screenshots, and notes I’ve collected in the year.
And as much as this is called SOCIAL signals, to me this isn’t just for people in social. This is ideally for everyone interested in what’s happening online and offline.
It’s pretty unhinged, and you will definitely get something out of it.
🎄 4. The Best Christmas Animation You’ve Never Seen – Nutcracker Fantasy
Thanksgiving is over.
It’s officially getting into holiday-season.
I want to introduce you to a film you definitely haven’t seen, but is a holiday classic at the Webster household.
If you’re looking for a new holiday film, this is a deep cut (my wife introduced it to me and it is a core memory for her).
Created in 1979 by Japanese animation house Sanrio (yes, the Hello Kitty company), this is a stop-motion adaptation of the Nutcracker.
It’s a yearly tradition for us.
You can stream it on YT for free here.
Here’s a great description:
The Hello Kitty magnate, then dipping their toes into film production, hired Nakamura, an ex-Rankin-Bass animator, to direct their vaguely festive stop-motion fantasy epic and employ the same signature Animagic technique that brought the beloved Rudolph & Co. to life.
The titular fantasy seems (if anything!) adapted from a poor German-to-Japanese-to-English translation of E.T.A. Hoffman’s original yuletide yarn rather than the beloved ballet, though Tchaikovsky’s melodies are infused with the amazing Moog drenched soundtrack to supergroovy effect.
What results is an awesomely bizarro sugarplum dream, at once familiar and alien.
Enjoy!
P.S. For holiday music, we love WCRB’s Perfect Holiday Party Soundtrack – Immaculate holiday classical vibes. Great for driving, background music, or deep work. Note: you have to click the “Streams” option in the upper right in order to select it.
